week of November 28th

Parents,
Thank you for being so patient while I was away. The surgery was a little more difficult than first thought. I am much better now, just moving a bit slower than normal.
**I will send home guided reading books tomorrow as I have a meeting today (this is when I would normally get the books.)
** Spelling Words are: sun, run, fun, cut, hut, nut, big, not, look, he
**Challenge Words are: shutter, under, south, equals, solid

**Literacy: we are talking about the past, present, and future. We talked a bit today about how things have changed, like phones, stoves, computers, etc.
**Science: Observe and record changes in the sky. The moon and sun.
**Math: We are learning about shapes. Math homework: Unit 2, pages 3,4,7,18,33.

I think that is it for the week!
